MERU SUMMIT WALK
4 DAYS -3 NIGHTS
DAY 1 : ARUSHA - MIRIAKAMBA - ALT 2100 - ALT 2541 M
Drive from Arusha to Arusha National National park and transfer to Momella gate (alt. 2100m) followed by a climb to Miriakamba Hut (alt.2541m) for dinner and overnight
Day 2: MIRIAKAMBA - SADDLE - ALT 2541 - 3570 M
After breakfast with a packed lunch, climb to the big valley then to saddle Hut (alt. 3570m), dinner and overnight Saddle Hut.
Day 3 : SADDLE HUT – MERU PEAK -ALT 3570 - 4566 M
Finally ascend to Meru peak thereafter descend down to Saddle hut for short rest and breakfast, thereafter descend with a packed lunch to Miriakamba HUT for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4 : MIRIAKAMBA – MOMELLA GATE
After breakfast with a picnic lunch descent to Momella gate for onward transfer to Arusha/Moshi.
